And we're done

Well that final was as easy as expected. Do wonder how that might have turned out if MvG had have started a tad quicker, Littler got five legs (out of six total) in six visits in those critical first four sets, two of which were breaks, maybe it doesn't matter, but something I think's worth mentioning. Here's the new FRH top 20:

1 Luke Humphries
2 Luke Littler
3 Michael van Gerwen
4 Stephen Bunting (UP 2)
5 Chris Dobey (UP 10)
6 Rob Cross (DOWN 2)
7 Dave Chisnall (DOWN 2)
8 Damon Heta (DOWN 1)
9 Jonny Clayton (UP 2)
10 James Wade (DOWN 2)
11 Mike de Decker (UP 3)
12 Gary Anderson (DOWN 3)
13 Danny Noppert (DOWN 1)
14 Ross Smith (DOWN 1)
15 Peter Wright (UP 4)
16 Gerwyn Price (UP 4)
17 Josh Rock (DOWN 1)
18 Ryan Searle
19 Dimitri van den Bergh (DOWN 2)
20 Ritchie Edhouse (NEW)

So only the one change in the top 20 as a group, and that's Edhouse replacing Michael Smith, despite them both going out at the same stage and despite Smith being tenth at the last update. Aspinall is still only 23rd despite a quarter final, Joyce hits the top 25, Pietreczko solidifies a top 30 spot, Woodhouse is only one place outside that, while Rydz is just into the top 40. de Graaf also hits the top 50 after his run, and indeed, here is the top 100 year end numbers:

17 changes from last year, which is more or less the same churn from the 23/24 turnover, the biggest casualty being Adam Gawlas dropping from 66 and then Kleermaker from 69, although if things dropped slightly differently we might have had a bit less change given three players were in the 101-110 bracket with a further three still in the top 128, but you're always going to get some on account of people losing tour cards.

Annoyingly they seem to have pushed the PL release timing until Monday, once that's in I can announce the 2nd/3rd divisions for 2025, but it's no rest for the wicked as we've got Q-School starting on the same day. Things never stop!
