Very simple this one. Luke is a far better player than van Gerwen. Year long - 80%. Since June - 80%. Since September - 83%. That indicates a line that should be starting 1.2, not 1.4. This looks like an extremely strong play on Littler at the current line, van Gerwen is just not showing a good enough game that I think he can hang on in a first to seven. Literally the only point I think I can see in his favour is that he has got over the line in one of these before, but does Luke look like the sort of player that would give a shit about that? Not for me.
